Are you planning a Super Bowl party for your friends and family? Whether you’re a fan of the teams playing or not, there’s no reason you can’t have a blast on the Super Bowl. Greg Lindberg says there are a number of different factors that make for a great Super Bowl party, but here are a few things he recommends every party host should have in order to make everyone happy.
A Quality Television and Sound System: If you decide that you want to host the game for your family and friends, Greg Lindberg definitely suggests you have a good entertainment system to ensure everyone can see and hear what is going on. There will be a lot of people there, and it could get noisy – especially if adult beverages are being served. Make sure you have a quality HD television and good sound system to show the game so everyone can enjoy it. Enough Space: This, of course, will depend on how many people you decide to invite, but you should have enough space to accommodate everyone who comes. You will also need to make sure you have enough seating so all guests can enjoy the game comfortably. Greg Lindberg recommends counting in advance how many chairs, couches, and other furniture you have to make sure you have enough seats. If you do need to buy more, folding chairs are an inexpensive option. Delicious Food: The game may not turn out to be great, but if the food is amazing, you have done your job. Many Super Bowl parties are potluck, and this enables people to bring their own dishes and put less pressure on the host. However, as the host, you should have a signature dish to present (you can never go wrong with guacamole). Also, keep in mind that your friends and family may have specific dietary needs. Ask ahead of time to see if you need to have gluten-free or vegan options to make sure everyone is full come game time. Greg Lindberg says that if you have these things, your party should be a blast no matter how the game turns out. And if the game does stink, you will always have the commercials.
